PoBo Party

Christian Singles had a fun night at Veronica's house in Quitman.  We each brought a can of our favorite veggie and it all went into a big black pot for our supper.  We had to eat out of the cans that we brought.  Man, the soup was the best.  Michael told Mitch and I the secret ingredient.  Peggy's homemade lemon pie didn't last long.  Gwen said the Lord gave her a skit to perform that night while she was crushing cans for MAW. ( She how the Lord works)  It had a wonderful message about how we can be all dirty and the Lord can clean us up and make us white as snow.  Thanks Gwen for your sweet, sweet sprit.   Brenda was then called up front and awarded the Best Costume Award.  Michael asked me did I know what exactly won it for me.  It wasn't all my rags hanging out of all my pockets,  not my dirty face, not my straw hat, not my overalls, not my dirty shirt, not my mix matched shoes.  It was my hobo stick/knapsack.  You just never know.
